Asparagus

Asparagus plants have delicate leaves growing from the thin stems. Although they have the 'fern' name they are actually only given the name due to the similarity of looks with a fern. They make a delicate addition to any space and can be trimmed to be kept at a suitable size. Some may need staking for support of the larger stems.

Growing Conditions:

Light: Bright to moderate, avoiding summer sun.

Temperature and humidity: Cool to warm. Moderate humidity.

Feeding: Weekly. Monthyl in winter.

Watering: Keep moist. In winter water when dry.

Propagation: Division, seed.
