Fern

One of the best air purifying plants available, ferns have numerous clusters of leaves and long fronds. Found in pale to dark green and originally growing on tropical forest floors, these plants appreciate dappled light and humidity.

Ferns can spread wide and also, depending on the variety, grow downwards which makes them perfect for hanging planters. The more upright varieties are perfect for darker corners which they fill will foliage.

Growing Conditions:

Light: Moderate, avoiding direct sun.

Temperature and humidity: Moderate to warm. Moderate to high humidity.

Feeding: Fortnightly using foliage houseplant fertiliser. Occasionally in winter.

Watering: Keep moist but avoid waterlogging.

Propagation: Division, spores.
