Macodes plants should be given a good level of humidity but not left to sit in wet soil. They prefer to be warm and will reward you with increased leaf growth if kept fed and watered and generally undisturbed. They do well in glass dome or terrarium setups. A moss surround is welcomed to keep the stem humid but not wet.
