Make sure you only water from the base of the nursery pot to avoid any low leaves becoming wet and rotting. The brighter the sunlight the better the colouring. They can be easilt propograted by snipping just above a leaf and popping straight back in the pot next to the mother plant. This will give you a much fuller plant.
